Mocha 


Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (or 2 tablespoons cocoa powder mixed with 2 tablespoons sugar)
  • 1 cup milk
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew Espresso: Prepare a shot of espresso using an espresso machine. If you don’t have one, brew a strong cup of coffee.

  2. Heat and Froth Milk: Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling. You can also use a milk steamer if you have one.

  3. Mix Chocolate and Espresso: In a large mug, combine the chocolate syrup or the cocoa powder and sugar mixture with the hot espresso. Stir until well mixed.

  4. Combine: Pour the hot milk into the espresso-chocolate mixture, stirring gently to combine.

  5. Top It Off: If desired, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.
